Where are my worktops made?
Here! At Graandijk 7 in Helmond, in our own factory. Manufactured in the Netherlands – something we are proud of.

Can I order directly from Kemie as a private customer?
Kemie does business with kitchen retailers and associated companies throughout the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. They can help you purchase a Kemie product.
My worktops have just been installed, what should I do before I start using it?
Before using your new kitchen worktops, please read the maintenance booklet carefully and – if recommended – treat/impregnate the surface.
Is there any daily or periodic maintenance my worktops need?
Specific cleaning for each material and surface finish is described in detail in the maintenance booklet supplied. You can also find these booklets below the various materials, where they can be downloaded as a PDF.
I have a complaint, what can I do?
If you have a complaint, please tell your kitchen retailer. Please make sure to add pictures and the order number (if possible) to your complaint.
My worktop is susceptible to stains, how could this be?
Stone varieties with a honed, letano or anticato surface are usually more prone to staining. Unfortunately, this is a characteristic of the material and how it’s processed. Our experience is that the susceptibility to stains reduced after a few months.
My surface seems less shiny after cleaning, how could this be?
If you used the Kemie Cleaner or another thorough and powerful cleaner, your surface may become more dull. This is due to the strength of the cleaner. Our advice is to clean and polish the entire surface. The glossy finish will return eventually.
There is some damage on my worktop, can this be repaired?
Luckily, the answer is ‘yes’ in most cases. Email the order number and a picture of the damage to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you a suitable repair suggestion.
How long is the warranty for my Kemie worktop?
Please view our warranty conditions here.
The maintenance product I once received with my worktop is no longer available from the web shop.
If the maintenance product is not available from the web shop, we would like to refer you to the cleaner currently recommended for your material/surface finish.
Can I return my product?
Samples cannot be returned. However, maintenance products can be returned. Please use the withdrawal form to cancel the sale within 14 days. Please make sure you treat the product and its packaging carefully during this time.
